About this fabric

The small-scale check is clearly visible across the swatch, with irregular woven detail giving the pattern a softly textured, handcrafted appearance. Terracotta is the dominant note, warmed and softened by pale cream and muted taupe threads rather than appearing as a flat, saturated red. The dense surface has a nubby, tactile look, while the closely spaced checks keep the overall effect neat and understated. This is a relaxed colourway with enough tonal variation to add depth to an upholstered form.

How to use it

Use Check Terracotta on a relaxed armchair, footstool or headboard, pairing its warm clay tones with natural timber, oatmeal upholstery and aged brass. The cream and taupe flecks make it easy to layer with softly textured neutrals without losing the terracotta accent.
