Kirkby Design

Aspect Terracottta

Aspect Terracottta pairs an earthy terracotta ground with closely spaced cream zigzags, creating a crisp, rhythmic surface. The fine woven pattern gives the colourway visual depth without losing its warm, grounded character.

About this fabric

Catalogued as a Fabric, Aspect Terracottta has a densely repeated chevron pattern made from narrow cream lines over a terracotta-brown ground. The warm base shifts between russet and muted clay tones across the image, while the lighter zigzags sharpen the overall definition. Its close weave creates a tactile, finely textured appearance rather than a flat printed look. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Bring this warm terracotta colourway into a room through a tailored occasional chair, dining seat or relaxed curtain, balancing its energetic chevron with quiet creams, walnut and natural timber.

Use the warm terracotta and cream chevron as a confident geometric accent on upholstery or full-length curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Aspect Terracottta without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
