Kirkby Design

Aspect Jet Black

Aspect Jet Black brings a crisp, tightly repeated zigzag pattern to a deep black ground. Fine pale-grey lines catch across the surface, giving the dark colourway definition without softening its graphic character.

About this fabric

The visible weave is densely patterned with narrow chevrons, alternating black and charcoal with slender pale-grey accents. Its closely spaced geometry creates a strong directional rhythm, while the dark ground gives the design a weighty, architectural feel. This is catalogued as a fabric rather than wallpaper, and its substantial-looking woven surface makes it best suited to upholstery. No performance features are noted in the supplied data.

How to use it

Use Aspect Jet Black on a contemporary armchair, dining seat or occasional sofa where its black-and-charcoal depth can act as a graphic focal point. Pair it with pale timber, brushed metal or warm neutral walls to let the fine zigzag pattern remain sharp and legible.

A graphic black-and-charcoal woven with fine pale-grey highlights, well suited to contemporary upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Aspect Jet Black without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
