Rock Porcelain

Rock Fabric

Rock Porcelain is a very pale, cool-toned fabric with an almost white porcelain cast. Its surface appears softly textured rather than completely flat, giving the quiet colour a little visual depth.

About this fabric

The close-up shows an even textile surface in a restrained porcelain grey, sitting between soft white and the palest cool grey. Fine tonal variation across the face keeps the shade from looking stark, while the barely perceptible texture adds a gentle tactile quality. Catalogued as a fabric, Rock Porcelain has no performance features noted in the supplied information. Its plain appearance allows the subtle surface character and cool neutral tone to remain the focus.

How to use it

Use this pale porcelain-grey colourway where a room needs a light, quiet foundation without the brightness of pure white. It would sit naturally alongside chalky neutrals, pale timber and softly contrasting grey accents.

A quiet porcelain-grey textile with a softly textured surface for calm, understated interiors.

Pairs well with

Rock Porcelain is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
