About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide velvet has a close, tactile surface with delicate tonal variation rather than a printed motif. The cool sage-green shade shifts gently between pale mint and softened grey-green as the light moves across the horizontal texture. It is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery, with machine-washable aftercare. The fabric has Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® flame retardancy and can be treated to contract grade.

How to use it

Pair this cool, softened sage colourway with warm ivory, pale oak and brushed metal for a calm contemporary scheme. Its fine striated texture works especially well on an occasional chair, headboard or tailored sofa where the changing sheen can be appreciated.

Use this softly weathered sage velvet on seating to bring gentle colour and tactile depth to a room.
