About this fabric

This 100% polyester chenille combines a cool sage-green base with irregular dusty rose and taupe flecks, creating a subdued, softly varied pattern rather than a sharply defined motif. The compact woven surface is visibly textured, with the mixed yarns catching the light across the swatch and adding depth to the pale green tone. At 138cm wide, it is supplied as a domestic upholstery-grade fabric, making it suitable for everyday upholstered furniture. Bergamo is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy.

How to use it

Use this sage-led colourway on a relaxed armchair, dining seat or sofa, pairing it with warm ivory, weathered timber and muted rose accents. Its softly faded contrast also works well in a layered scheme of pale grey, taupe and natural textures.

The muted sage ground and dusty rose flecks suit relaxed upholstery in calm, layered rooms.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside BER3343_2022-05-05-104621_YIJG without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
