Bergamo FabricBER3345_2022-05-05-104700_ALYY

Bergamo has a quiet blue-green tone, sitting between softened teal and cool sage across the textured chenille surface. Irregular darker forms move through the weave in a low-contrast, organic pattern.

About this fabric

This Bergamo chenille is woven in a muted blue-green shade rather than a bright turquoise, giving the colourway a cool, softened depth. Dark flecks and irregular branching forms create a gently mottled pattern, while the short chenille pile adds a nubby texture that catches the light across the swatch. Made from 100% polyester and supplied at 138cm wide, it is graded for domestic upholstery. The fabric is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy.

How to use it

Use this cool blue-green colourway on a domestic sofa, armchair or dining seat where its subdued teal tone can sit comfortably with pale timber, charcoal, sage and warm neutrals. The organic surface pattern adds interest without overpowering a room.

A muted blue-green chenille that brings softly patterned texture to domestic upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside BER3345_2022-05-05-104700_ALYY without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
