Bergamo is a close-textured chenille in a muted aqua-sage colourway, with the cool blue-green tone softened by taupe-grey yarns. Tiny warm flecks within the weave add subtle depth without creating a defined motif.

About this fabric

This dense chenille is woven in 100% polyester and supplied at 138cm wide. Across the surface, muted aqua and blue-green threads sit among warm grey-taupe yarns, with occasional subdued terracotta flecks visible in the close weave. Its small-scale, pebbled texture catches the light softly and gives the colourway a gently varied appearance rather than a flat finish. Rated Domestic upholstery, it is machine washable and carries Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy.

How to use it

Use this muted aqua-sage colourway on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its cool blue-green tone can be balanced with warm taupe, natural wood and softly aged terracotta accents. The fine mottling makes it easy to pair with plain textiles while retaining visible texture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
