About this fabric

The dense chenille texture appears subtly striated, with the weave catching light in slightly lighter and darker vertical traces. Made from 100% polyester, BEL1970 is 138cm wide and suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. Its machine-washable finish makes it a practical choice for upholstered seating and other frequently used pieces. The fabric meets Domestic Cig & Match flame-retardancy requirements and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Pair this warm taupe colourway with chalky whites, natural oak and muted stone shades for a calm, layered scheme. Its understated texture also works well as a neutral upholstery base where patterned cushions or deeper accents provide contrast.
