About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this Belvedere chenille has a dense-looking, softly brushed surface with irregular brown and taupe-brown flecks visible across the weave. The warm mocha tone reads deeper in the shaded areas, while the raised fibres catch the light with a subtle, velvety change in depth. At 138cm wide, it is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. The fabric is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy, with the option to be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Pair this warm brown colourway with aged timber, tobacco leather and muted taupe upholstery for a grounded, layered scheme. Its low-contrast mottling is especially useful on sofas, dining chairs or headboards where a plain brown might feel too flat.

Use this warm, softly mottled brown on upholstered seating where its subtle texture adds depth without a bold pattern.
