About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille has a fine, textured face that gives the charcoal colour gentle tonal variation rather than a flat black appearance. Its dark grey shade reads cool and understated, with lighter threads visible across the woven surface. BEL1991 is graded for both contract and domestic upholstery, making it suitable for seating and other hard-wearing upholstered pieces. It is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Pair this cool charcoal-grey with pale timber, brushed metal and soft grey upholstery for a contemporary scheme, or use it to ground warmer neutrals without introducing a strong pattern.
