Elbury Fabric

Heskin Twine has a warm taupe-beige ground with a visibly tactile, irregular crosshatch weave. Fine pale and darker threads intersect across the surface, giving this quiet neutral colourway gentle depth.

About this fabric

The close woven texture forms a small, irregular grid rather than a printed motif, with horizontal and vertical threads creating a subtle basketweave effect. Its twine-like colouring combines soft beige, stone and muted taupe notes, reading warmer and more grounded than a cool grey neutral. Light catches the raised threads unevenly, bringing a softly mottled finish to the otherwise restrained surface. The visible mid-weight woven construction makes it a versatile choice for both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use Heskin Twine to bring warmth to pale stone, ivory and natural timber schemes, or pair it with deeper taupe and brown accents for a layered, textural room. Its muted beige tone works especially well on relaxed seating and softly gathered curtains.

A softly textured neutral for relaxed upholstery, curtains or layered schemes where its warm taupe-beige weave can add quiet depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
