Bologna FabricBOL3268

Bologna BOL3268 combines a warm beige, softly mottled ground with a clearly defined blue windowpane check. Its textured surface gives the pale base more depth than a plain cloth, while the blue lines add crisp structure.

About this fabric

This flat-weave fabric has a warm stone-beige tone threaded with subtle lighter and darker variation, crossed by narrow blue lines that form large rectangular checks. The close-up shows a tactile, slightly nubby weave rather than a smooth finish, giving the colourway a softly layered appearance. Made from 100% polyester and supplied at 138cm wide, it is graded for both contract and domestic upholstery. BOL3268 is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match GreenFRĀ® flame retardancy, with treatment available to contract grade.

How to use it

Use the warm beige ground to soften a tailored sofa, headboard or dining seat, then pick up the blue check with denim, slate or muted blue cushions. The large-scale grid works especially well where a room needs pattern with a restrained, architectural feel.

A warm beige textured check with blue lines, suited to tailored upholstery in both classic and contemporary rooms.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside BOL3268 without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
