About this fabric

This plain 100% polyester velvet reads as a dark, adaptable neutral, with a soft nap and low directional sheen visible across the charcoal surface. At 138cm wide, it is specified for both contract and domestic upholstery. The fabric is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade. Its dark tone and restrained texture give upholstered pieces a composed, luxe finish without a visible motif.

How to use it

Pair this deep charcoal grey with pale woods, chalky neutrals or brushed metal to balance its depth. It is particularly suited to sofas, occasional chairs and upholstered headboards where the velvet nap can show gentle tonal movement.
