About this fabric

This 100% polyester chenille combines charcoal and grey fibres in a close, softly mottled weave, giving the colourway more depth than a flat black. The restrained crosshatched texture is clearly visible across the 138cm-wide cloth, while the dark tone gives it a smart, understated presence. Suitable for contract and domestic upholstery, it is machine washable for practical everyday use. It meets Domestic Cig & Match requirements and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this deep charcoal colourway on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its subtle grey variation can soften a near-black scheme. Pair it with warm timber, brushed metal or lighter neutral upholstery for contrast.
