About this fabric

Woven from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille has a substantial, softly textured appearance suited to upholstered furniture. Its charcoal-black colour reads deep and sophisticated, while the close tonal variation prevents the surface from looking completely flat or stark. CAN2481 is graded for both contract and domestic upholstery and is machine washable for practical everyday use. It meets Domestic Cig & Match flame-retardancy requirements and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this deep charcoal colourway to upholster a tailored sofa, dining chair or headboard where its near-black tone can anchor paler walls, warm timber and brushed metal. Layer with tactile ivory, stone or muted grey textiles to bring out the subtle chenille texture without introducing a competing pattern.
