About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille has a subtly irregular woven texture that catches the light in soft charcoal shifts rather than appearing completely flat. The very dark colour reads as charcoal-black, with faint horizontal and vertical variation adding depth to the surface. It is graded for contract and domestic upholstery and is machine washable for practical everyday use. Flame retardancy is specified as Domestic Cig & Match, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this deep charcoal-black colourway on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its restrained texture can provide a quiet, tailored foundation. Pair it with warm timber, brushed metal or lighter textured fabrics to prevent the near-black tone from feeling too severe.
