COR3097

Cortona FabricCOR3097

COR3097 has a deep charcoal tone that sits close to black, with a softly mottled surface created by its dense boucle loops. The close-up reveals fine grey variation across the dark ground, giving the colour depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

Woven in a compact boucle, this near-black charcoal colourway is covered with small irregular loops that create a tactile, grain-like texture across the surface. Its 100% polyester composition and 138cm width make it a practical option for contract and domestic upholstery. COR3097 is machine washable, and its flame retardancy is rated for Domestic Cig & Match, with the option to treat it to Crib 5 contract grade. The dark tone absorbs most of the light while the raised loops catch small highlights, producing a restrained, dimensional finish.

How to use it

Use this almost-black charcoal on a sofa, occasional chair or headboard to bring visual weight and quiet texture to a room. Pair it with pale stone, warm timber or brushed metal so the subtle grey flecks in the boucle remain visible.

A deep charcoal boucle with a densely looped surface, suited to contemporary upholstery where subtle texture matters.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
