CEL4060 is a deep teal-blue chenille with a softly mottled surface, where fine crosswise and lengthwise texture gives the colour visible depth. Its cool blue-green tone reads darker in the denser woven areas and lighter where the pile catches the light.

About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille is specified for both contract and domestic upholstery. The close, tactile weave is visibly varied rather than flat, with charcoal-leaning flecks and blue-green highlights breaking across the deep teal ground. CEL4060 is machine washable, and its flame-retardancy specification covers Domestic Cig & Match; it can also be treated to Crib 5 contract grade. The even, non-directional texture makes the colourway suitable for upholstered pieces where a richly shaded plain is preferred over a printed motif.

How to use it

Use CEL4060 on a sofa, occasional chair or headboard to establish a cool, enveloping teal focal point, then balance its darker depth with pale timber, warm neutrals or softly brushed metal. Its mottled chenille surface will help larger upholstered forms retain visual texture without introducing a separate pattern.
