About this fabric

This Catania colourway is made from 100% polyester chenille and measures 138cm wide. The plain weave has a softly mottled appearance, with slender vertical threads and tiny lighter flecks creating depth without a visible motif. Its dark, cool blue-grey tone gives seating a composed, tailored look while retaining the visual softness of chenille. CAT2770 is suitable for contract and domestic upholstery, is machine washable, and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade; its stated flame-retardancy level is Domestic Cig & Match.

How to use it

Use CAT2770 on a structured sofa, dining chair or occasional chair where its charcoal depth can anchor pale timber, warm neutrals and brushed metal. Pair it with lighter grey-blue textiles to draw out the cooler flecks in the weave without introducing a competing pattern.
