About this fabric

The close-up shows a cool silver-grey ground threaded with tiny tonal variations, while the chenille pile gives the surface a soft, lightly tactile appearance. This 100% polyester fabric is 138cm wide and graded for both contract and domestic upholstery. It is machine washable, and its flame retardancy is suitable for domestic cigarette-and-match requirements, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade. The restrained colour and unobtrusive woven texture make the fabric particularly suited to furniture where the silhouette and material texture should lead.

How to use it

Use this pale, cool grey on a tailored sofa, occasional chair or dining seat, pairing it with crisp whites, pale timber and brushed metal for a fresh contemporary scheme. Its subtle tonal weave can also soften darker charcoal, navy or black furniture accents without introducing a strong pattern.

A pale silver-grey chenille for tailored seating, dining chairs and versatile contract or domestic upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
