About this fabric
The colourway reads as deep charcoal with slate-blue undertones, giving the fabric a cooler, softer character than a true black. Its chenille construction creates a fine, gently mottled nap across the surface, adding depth without introducing a motif. Made from 100% polyester and measuring 138cm wide, it is suitable for contract and domestic upholstery. CAP4470 is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® flame retardancy.
How to use it
Use this cool charcoal-blue on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its near-black depth can anchor pale woods, stone, smoke-grey and muted blue accents. The subtle chenille texture helps dark upholstery feel tactile rather than flat.
