About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille is specified for both contract and domestic upholstery. The dense surface appears gently flecked rather than patterned, giving the near-black brown tone quiet visual depth. CAP4473 is machine washable and carries Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® flame retardancy. Its substantial chenille handle and low-key colour make it suited to upholstered furniture where a composed, darker finish is wanted.

How to use it

Use this deep charcoal-brown on a sofa, headboard or dining chair to anchor a room with a warm, shadowed tone. Pair it with pale timber, chalky neutrals or soft taupes to bring out the subtle brown cast rather than making the upholstery feel stark black.
