About this fabric

The cool, pale silver-grey ground is scattered with fine white and slightly deeper grey marks, creating a softly distressed effect without a bold directional motif. The small-scale pattern has a quiet, atmospheric quality, while the close surface texture gives the colourway gentle depth rather than a flat plain finish. At 218 gsm and 140 cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The supplied specification gives a 30 cm vertical repeat, a 23 cm horizontal repeat and 126 threads per cm, allowing the subtle pattern to be considered accurately when planning larger applications.

How to use it

Use Lucette Silver on occasional upholstery, relaxed curtains or layered cushions where its blush-tinged silver-grey can soften crisp white, pale stone and cool metallic accents. The chalky flecks also sit comfortably against light oak and muted taupe.

Use the pale silver-grey ground with chalk white, soft taupe or pale timber for a quiet, light-reflective scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lucette Silver without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
