About this fabric
SCE2083 is a densely woven 100% polyester chenille, 138cm wide, with a fine herringbone texture visible across the swatch. Its dark cocoa-brown ground is softened by charcoal-grey flecks in the weave, giving the surface a gently variegated appearance rather than a flat block of colour. The compact texture catches the light in narrow shifts as the chevron direction changes. It is graded for contract and domestic upholstery, is machine washable, and has domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy; it can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.
How to use it
Use this deep cocoa-brown colourway on a tailored sofa, dining chair or upholstered headboard where its compact herringbone weave can add depth without introducing a bold pattern. Pair it with warm timber, aged metal and lighter stone or oat tones to balance the dark, charcoal-flecked surface.
