About this fabric

The swatch shows a small-scale chevron-like herringbone, with the alternating direction of the yarn creating a gently broken surface pattern rather than a bold stripe. Warm oatmeal and pale beige tones give the colourway a calm, softly layered appearance, while the chenille construction adds visible plushness and depth. Made from 100% polyester and supplied at 138cm wide, it is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. SCE2080 is machine washable and has domestic cigarette and match flame retardancy; it can also be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this warm oatmeal colourway on a sofa, dining chair or headboard where its fine herringbone can add quiet pattern without overwhelming a room. Pair it with chalky creams, natural oak and deeper tan accents to bring out the weave's subtle tonal contrast.

A warm oatmeal chenille with a subtle herringbone texture for relaxed, versatile upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
