About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, SCE2081 has a fine broken, herringbone-like weave that gives the plain colour subtle movement rather than a printed motif. The taupe-grey ground is softly mottled, with lighter threads catching across the surface and deeper grey flecks adding gentle depth. At 138cm wide, it is graded for both Contract and Domestic upholstery. The fabric is machine washable, has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy, and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this softened taupe-grey on an armchair, sofa or dining seat where its quiet woven texture can balance darker timber, chalky walls and warm stone tones. The neutral depth also works well with oatmeal, putty and charcoal accents.

A softly mottled taupe-grey chenille that pairs easily with warm timber, stone and restrained neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
