About this fabric
This flat weave is made from 52% polyester and 48% cotton, with the tightly woven surface showing subtle tonal variation between warm beige, soft grey and taupe. Its understated colour reads muted rather than pale, while the fine vertical texture catches the light without forming a strong pattern. At 138cm wide, SEM4127 is graded for both contract and domestic upholstery and is also suitable for coordinated soft furnishings. It has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade; professional aftercare is required.
How to use it
Use this muted taupe-beige on a tailored sofa, dining chair or headboard where its fine slub texture adds depth without introducing a visible motif. It also works as a calm curtain or cushion fabric alongside warm woods, stone, chalky whites and soft grey accents.
