About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille is specified for Contract and Domestic upholstery. The surface has a compact, tactile weave with fine horizontal and vertical variation, giving the warm taupe-grey shade gentle depth rather than a flat block of colour. STR2965 is machine washable and carries Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® flame retardancy; it can be treated to contract grade. Its substantial-looking texture makes it well suited to chairs, sofas and other upholstered furniture.

How to use it

Use STR2965 to upholster a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its warm taupe-grey tone can bridge cream, timber, stone and muted green accents. The lightly flecked chenille texture adds interest while keeping the overall scheme calm and adaptable.

The warm taupe-grey tone and softly irregular chenille texture bring understated depth to upholstered seating.
