About this fabric

The close-up shows a tightly woven surface in soft grey taupe, with slender vertical shifts in tone that give the plain ground subtle depth without introducing a visible motif. Made from 52% polyester and 48% cotton, this 138cm-wide flat weave is specified for both contract and domestic upholstery. It has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade. Professional aftercare is required.

How to use it

Pair this softly warmed grey-taupe with chalky whites, pale oak and brushed metal for a calm contemporary scheme, or use it to temper deeper olive, charcoal and walnut tones. Its fine striation adds quiet surface interest to sofas, occasional chairs and upholstered headboards.
