About this fabric

The close-up shows a fine, even weave with delicate horizontal and vertical variation, giving the surface a lightly textured, natural-looking finish. This colourway combines muted taupe, soft brown and faint beige yarns for a calm, grounded appearance that changes gently as the light catches the weave. Made from 85% polyester, 12% cotton and 3% linen, the 138cm-wide fabric is graded for both contract and domestic upholstery. It has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade; aftercare is professional.

How to use it

Use the warm taupe-brown tone on a sofa, armchair or upholstered headboard, pairing it with ecru, oatmeal and dark timber for a relaxed, layered scheme. Its subtle woven variation also works well beside leather or more tactile boucle accents without introducing a strong pattern.

A warm taupe flat weave that brings softly textured depth to sofas, chairs and headboards.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
