About this fabric

Woven from 85% polyester, 12% cotton and 3% linen, SAL4100 has the compact, lightly grained look of a flat-weave cloth. The close-up shows tiny intersecting yarns and restrained tonal variation across the ochre ground, giving the surface more depth than a plain solid. At 138cm wide, it is graded for both contract and domestic upholstery. It has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade; aftercare is professional.

How to use it

Use this muted ochre-gold colourway to warm a neutral room on an upholstered chair, sofa or headboard, pairing it with soft creams, tobacco browns and aged timber. Its low-contrast weave also suits relaxed curtains where a little woven texture is preferred over a smooth plain.

A warm ochre-gold flat weave with subtle yarn variation for relaxed upholstery and softly tailored drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
