About this fabric

This colourway reads as a warm mushroom taupe, with a muted brown cast rather than a cool grey. The close view shows a quiet flat weave: fine intersecting yarns create a restrained crosshatch and slight light-dark movement across the surface. Made from 85% polyester, 12% cotton and 3% linen, SAL4097 is 138cm wide and graded for contract and domestic upholstery. Aftercare is professional; it meets Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use the earthy mushroom-taupe tone to bring warmth to tailored seating, pairing it with cream, natural timber and deeper brown accents. Its restrained woven texture suits both contemporary and quietly traditional upholstery schemes.
