About this fabric
This flat weave is composed of 85% polyester, 12% cotton and 3% linen, with a 138cm width for upholstery applications. In the swatch, the plum tone is dark and muted rather than bright, with subtle burgundy and violet variation visible between the woven threads. Its fine crosswise texture adds depth without introducing a separate motif, keeping the surface visually composed. SAL4105 is suitable for Contract and Domestic upholstery, has Professional aftercare, and meets Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy; it can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.
How to use it
Use this berry-plum colourway to upholster a statement armchair, dining chair or sofa where its dark, cool-leaning tone can anchor softer neutrals, aged timber and brushed metal. The quiet flat weave also suits tailored cushions and neatly piped upholstery.
A deep berry-plum flat weave with subtle tonal texture for upholstered seating in both domestic and contract settings.

Pairs well with
SAL4105 is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
