SAL4101 presents a softly weathered camel-taupe ground with a fine, even flat weave. Its closely woven surface has subtle tonal variation, giving the plain colour gentle depth rather than a sharp, uniform finish.

About this fabric

The visible weave is compact and lightly textured, with fine pale and darker threads creating a muted, natural-looking variation across the warm taupe shade. SAL4101 is a flat weave made from 85% polyester, 12% cotton and 3% linen, supplied at 138cm wide. It is graded for both contract and domestic upholstery, making this mid-weight-looking textile suited to upholstered furniture. Aftercare is professional, and it has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy with the option to be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this warm camel-taupe colourway to upholster a relaxed armchair, sofa or dining seat where its softly mottled surface can add warmth without introducing a strong pattern. Pair it with ivory, walnut, aged brass and deeper brown accents for a grounded, tonal scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
