About this fabric

The swatch shows a warm espresso-brown shade with a close, smooth velvet pile and softly directional shading. Woven from 100% polyester, SAP3756 is 138cm wide and graded for both Contract and Domestic upholstery. It is machine washable and carries Contract GreenFR® Plus flame retardancy. The dark, plain colour gives upholstered forms a grounded, polished finish while allowing the velvet texture to provide the visual interest.

How to use it

Use this deep chocolate colour on a sofa, armchair or banquette where its warm depth can anchor lighter walls, natural timber and muted neutral fabrics. The plain velvet surface also works well on curved or tailored upholstery without introducing another motif.

A rich chocolate velvet with a soft nap, suited to upholstered seating and contract interiors.
