About this fabric

Woven as 100% polyester velvet, this 138cm-wide cloth has a dense-looking, even pile that catches the light in subtle darker and lighter bands across the warm rust-red surface. The colour sits between terracotta and reddish brown, giving it more depth than a bright orange and a grounded, earthy character. Suitable for contract and domestic upholstery, it is also machine washable for easier ongoing care. Contract GreenFRĀ® Plus flame retardancy adds to its suitability for specified commercial interiors.

How to use it

Use this burnt terracotta shade on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair to introduce a warm, enveloping accent against cream, putty, walnut or charcoal surroundings. Its plain velvet surface works especially well where the rich russet colour is intended to lead rather than compete with a patterned textile.

A warm, richly coloured velvet that brings depth to upholstered seating while remaining practical for contract and domestic settings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
