About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide velvet has a dense-looking surface with faint nap variation that catches the light across the swatch. The green reads cool and subdued, sitting close to charcoal while retaining a discernible forest tone. It is graded for both contract and domestic upholstery, making it suitable for upholstered seating in either setting. Aftercare is machine washable, and the fabric carries Contract GreenFR® Plus flame retardancy.

How to use it

Use SAP3763 on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat where its almost-black forest tone can anchor a room without the hardness of true black. Pair it with pale stone, smoked oak, aged brass or rust accents to bring out the velvet’s restrained green depth.

Use this near-black forest green velvet to add depth to seating, especially alongside warm wood or aged brass.
