About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide velvet has a close, even surface with the subtle directional shading visible across the swatch. The blue-green tone is restrained rather than bright, sitting between deep teal and softened slate for a composed, contemporary look. Suitable for contract and domestic upholstery, it brings a richer, more tactile finish to seating and other upholstered pieces. It is machine washable and carries Contract GreenFR® Plus flame retardancy.

How to use it

Pair this muted blue-teal with warm timber, brushed metal and chalky neutrals to balance its depth. It works especially well on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where the velvet pile can shift gently with the light.

Use this subdued blue-teal velvet to bring depth to contemporary seating, headboards or occasional chairs.
