About this fabric
This 100% polyester velvet has a dense-looking, softly lustrous surface, with subtle shifts between green and almost-black across the swatch. At 138cm wide, it is specified for both Contract and Domestic upholstery, making it suited to upholstered seating and larger furniture pieces. The deep, cool forest tone gives the cloth a particularly rich and dramatic presence rather than a bright or botanical green effect. It is machine washable and carries Contract GreenFR® Plus flame retardancy.
How to use it
Use this dark forest green on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its low-lit depth can anchor a room. Balance the shade with natural oak, aged brass, warm neutrals or softly coloured artwork to keep the velvet from feeling too heavy.
