About this fabric
Made from 100% polyester, this Sapore velvet has a smooth, compact pile that shifts subtly between charcoal and black as the light moves across the swatch. The 138cm width makes it practical for upholstered furniture, while its Contract and Domestic upholstery grade supports use in both settings. It is machine washable and carries Contract GreenFR® Plus flame retardancy. The absence of a visible motif keeps this colourway especially strong for clean-lined, tailored seating.
How to use it
Use SAP3771 on a sofa, headboard or statement armchair where its deep charcoal tone can create a grounded, luxe foundation. Pair it with pale timber, brushed metal or warm ivory textiles to bring out the velvet’s subdued surface variation.
