About this fabric

This colourway reads as a near-black charcoal rather than a flat, dense black, with softly mottled shading visible across the surface. Fine linear grain and restrained sheen give the material a gently textured finish without a pronounced pattern. It is made from 65% PU and 35% cotton, with a width of 138cm, and is graded for contract and domestic upholstery. Professional aftercare is specified, with flame retardancy listed for contract use.

How to use it

Use this deep charcoal upholstery on a sofa, headboard or dining seat where its near-black tone can anchor lighter timber, stone or warm neutral surroundings. Its subdued sheen also suits tailored contemporary schemes that need depth without a strong motif.

A deep charcoal faux leather with subtle tonal grain for smart contract or domestic upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
