About this fabric
The design is built from tightly packed vertical striations, with black and charcoal bands interrupted by chalky white and soft grey marks. Uneven, distressed-looking areas give the surface visible depth, while the pale passages catch the light against the darker ground. The overall effect is cool, graphic and atmospheric rather than softly tonal.
