About this fabric

The narrow, regular ribs give this colourway a tailored appearance, while the almost-black tone creates a strong, grounded finish without visible patterning. Made from 100% polyester, RIB2936 is supplied at 138cm wide and is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. It is machine washable, making the cloth practical for upholstered pieces that need straightforward aftercare. Flame retardancy is rated Domestic Cig & Match, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this charcoal-black cord on a sofa, dining chair or headboard where its vertical ribbing can add tactile definition to a dark, tailored scheme. Pair it with pale timber, warm neutrals or brushed metal to bring out the subtle graphite lift in the pile.
