About this fabric

This plain velvet reads as near-black rather than softened charcoal, with the pile creating a subtle tonal shift instead of a visible motif. Made from 100% polyester and supplied at 138cm wide, it is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. The fabric is machine washable, adding practical care flexibility to its rich, low-light appearance. It meets Domestic Cig & Match requirements and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use PAS2734 on a sculptural armchair, sofa or dining seat where its near-black tone can anchor pale walls, warm timber and brushed metal. The understated pile catches just enough light to keep dark upholstery from looking completely flat.
