About this fabric

The subtle nap gives this colourway a calm, lightly dimensional appearance rather than a stark flat grey. Made from 100% polyester, the velvet is 138cm wide and suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. It is machine washable, with domestic Cigarette and Match flame retardancy; it can also be treated to Crib 5 contract grade. The understated grey-taupe tone works especially well where a neutral upholstery colour needs more softness and depth than plain woven cloth.

How to use it

Use this warm grey-taupe velvet on a sofa, headboard or dining chair to bring a softly polished finish to a neutral room. Pair it with chalky whites, mushroom shades and aged timber, or contrast its muted warmth with deep blue accents.
