About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide faux fur is graded for both contract and domestic upholstery. The dense-looking pile is arranged in vertical, softly uneven channels rather than a flat uniform finish, giving the grey colourway depth and movement. Darker charcoal recesses sit beside cooler grey highlights, creating a luxurious yet atmospheric surface for upholstered furniture. Aftercare is professional, and the fabric has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy.

How to use it

Use PEL4160 on a statement chair, headboard or occasional sofa where its smoky charcoal tone can add depth against pale walls, warm timber or brushed metal. Keep surrounding textiles simple so the vertical pile and shifting grey highlights remain the focus.

Use this deep smoky grey faux fur to bring tactile warmth and a softly dramatic finish to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
