About this fabric

The plain velvet face has a delicate nap that gives this cool blue-grey colourway gentle tonal depth rather than a flat, stark appearance. Made from 100% polyester and supplied at 138cm wide, PAS2730 is graded for both Contract and Domestic upholstery. Aftercare is machine washable, while the standard flame retardancy is Domestic Cig & Match; it can also be treated to Crib 5 contract grade. The restrained colour and softly changing pile give upholstered pieces a smart, understated finish.

How to use it

Use this pale blue-grey on a sofa, headboard or dining chair where its cool tone can lighten darker timber and contrast with charcoal, navy or warm neutral accents. The subtle nap variation adds texture without introducing a strong pattern.

Pair the cool blue-grey velvet with crisp whites, soft taupes or darker charcoal upholstery for a calm, tailored scheme.
