About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille has a compact, subtly irregular weave suited to upholstered furniture. The colour sits between slate blue and charcoal grey, with lighter threads giving the surface gentle depth rather than a flat, uniform finish. It is suitable for contract and domestic upholstery and can be machine washed. The fabric meets Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy requirements and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Pair PAR4209 with pale timber, brushed metal and warm ivory textiles to balance its cool blue-grey tone. It works particularly well on tailored sofas, occasional chairs and upholstered headboards where the textured surface can be seen up close.
