About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide velvet is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. The dense-looking surface reads as almost graphite in the darker areas, with gentle grey shifts that reveal the direction of the pile. It is machine washable, and its flame retardancy is rated for Domestic Cig & Match; it can also be treated to Crib 5 contract grade. The plain, textured appearance keeps the deep colour versatile while allowing the velvet finish to remain the defining detail.

How to use it

Use PAS2733 on a statement sofa, upholstered bed or occasional chair where its deep charcoal tone can anchor lighter walls, warm timber and brushed metal. The subtle pile variation will add depth without introducing a visible pattern.
